The update to 5.02 solves 3 problems: The picture position is saved in the PAL 786x576 mode now. Also the mouse pointer should not freeze anymore in the PAL 800x600 FS mode when the picture is shifted vertically. On some Win2K machines the program froze during the hardware detection. This should be solved, too.

And to give it a bit more professionel look TVTool has an installer now. Unfortunately the English version of the help file is not ready yet. Only the German version is included but the English one will come quickly.

The update fixes two things. For GeForce2-MX users it is not necessary anymore to use certain versions of the Detonator driver. Now every version can be used, nevertheless the TwinView function should still be disabled.

Also the manual card selection should work properly now. On some cards the TV chip cannot be detected, mainly a problem of the Diamond Viper. In these cases you can select the address of the TV chip manually (Viper = Adr.2). After the selection the tool should work with one restriction: The connection type (VHS/S-VHS) must be selected manually, too.

It took a bit longer this time but now it´s ready: TVTool 5. The helpfile is not finished yet, it will be publish a bit later. But there is a list of the new features and changes with a short description, you can find it here. The tool can be downloaded in the download section of course.

Here is it now in English, too. The cable FAQ tries to answer some important questions about connecting the PC to the TV or VCR. Although this seems to be very easy, the forum shows that it can be more difficult than it seems on the first sight. Let´s go.

Almost punctual to the new year this page has moved and can be found at www.tvtool.de now. The well known address come.to/tvout will still be valid. At this oportunity I have changed the forum, I hope to a better one. And the good thing is that there is also a forum in English language now. The old forum can still be found here for a while. Please don´t open new threads there cause it will be shut down soon.

TL has a made a small update of TVCC which fixes a bug concerning the RGB output. Who doesn´t use this connection type doesn´t need to update.

TL has released a new version of TVCC 2000. There are some new features and some important bugs have been fixed. Like the problems when the resolution was changed. Also the TV chip can be selected manually now what should solve the problems with the chip detection. Further details in the download section.

The survey is concluded and about 500 users have taken part. The table which will show the datas for each card type will still take a while. The other results are already evaluated. Here are the results!
