The current 52.xx drivers make problems on some laptops and crash when certain property pages are opened. Therefore this article still relies on driver 44.03, which runs properly on all tested laptops.

1. Step: Download driver 44.03 from the nVidia site

2. Step: Start it by running setup.exe

3. Step: Abort installation after the driver has been unpacked to the directory you have specified

4. Step: Download the special inf file from my site

5. Step: Copy that file (actually these are two files) to the driver directory and overwrite the existing ones

6. Step: DO NOT UNINSTALL your current driver! (So you don´t have to do anything at this step :-)

7. Step: Go into the hardware manager (CTRL-BREAK)

8. Step: Select your graphics card and chose Update

9. Step: Select manual installation:

10. Step: Select 'don´t search, want to chose driver by myself'

11. Step: Now select the directory where your driver is located. Then chose the graphics card. As the GF-Go models are not listed in the standard Detonator driver you select the correspoding name:

• GF2Go -> GF2-MX100/200
• GF4Go 420 -> GF4-MX420
• GF4Go 440 -> GF4-MX440
• GF4Go 460 -> GF4-MX460
• GF4Go 488 -> GF4-MX488
• GF-FX5200Go -> GF-FX 5200
• GF-FX5800Go -> GF-FX 5800

That´s it! After the next start you have the latest Detonator running on your laptop and can enjoy the full capability of the TV out! :-)
